End User License Agreement
Last updated: May 2026
This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you ("User") and Archlight Studios ("we", "us", or "our") governing your use of Project Everlast, the Everlast Mod Creator, and related services. By installing or using the Software, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA.
1. Grant of License
Archlight Studios grants you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Software for personal entertainment. This includes the right to use the Everlast Mod Creator to develop and share Lua-based modifications through official channels like the Steam Workshop.
2. Modding & Custom Content
We encourage creativity through the Everlast Mod Creator. However, you may not:
- Use mods to bypass game security or monetization;
- Distribute mods that contain malicious code;
- Claim ownership of original game assets (meshes, textures, audio) included in the Software;
- Commercialize mods without prior written consent from Archlight Studios.
3. Technical Restrictions
While modding via official Lua interfaces is permitted, you may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the core Unreal Engine 5.6.1 binaries or attempt to derive the source code of the underlying game engine.
4. User-Generated Content (UGC)
For any content created using the Mod Creator, you grant Archlight Studios a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to host, display, and distribute such content to other users of the Software.
5. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS". ARCHLIGHT STUDIOS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DATA LOSS OR SYSTEM INSTABILITY CAUSED BY THE INSTALLATION OF THIRD-PARTY MODS OR CUSTOM LUA SCRIPTS.
6. Termination
This license terminates automatically if you violate any terms, especially those regarding intellectual property or prohibited exploits.
